The Finish Line...

Diaper bag done! Yay! It turned out great even though I changed up the pattern :). I will post pics as soon as things slow down a bit. (still need to find the website so I can give credit where credit is due) Business is booming! I have to finish a baby blanket before I move on to my next project... Hopefully will start the mobile and another baby quilt later this week :)

Progress!

Finished the burp cloths in time for the baby shower last Sunday! (go me!) Unfortunately, my fabric order for the blanket and diaper bag didn't come in until today - last time I'm ordering from Joann while I'm on this rock!!! (20-30 days to deliver to Hawaii is insane!!!). So... Now that I have the goodies - time to sew! I've actually made great progress on the bag - though it's always a little scary when projects start off so smoothly... Can't get too side tracked though, I have another blanket to finish & got a uniform today that needs some attention :) Going to attempt to get it all done by the weekend... Ahh... My First Post

Hrm, where to begin???  I suppose an introduction would be appropriate... I'm Harley Rain, just a screen name I picked up about 11 years ago.  I am a Navy wife/stay-at-home mommy of four little gremlins, and in what little (very little) spare time I have I sew.  I run a teeny-tiny little sewing business out of my house - it doesn't pay the bills, but it makes me happy/sane.  I do everything from military uniforms to baby quilts and beyond - if I haven't made it yet, I will someday =)

I read other blogs constantly looking for patterns and ideas for the next project.  I am currently working on a diaper bag from a pattern I found the other day (can't for the life of me remember who's it was, but I will find it eventually and post a link!)
